TAPA TAPA
In 1993, Artemi Nolla opened the first and pioneering TAPA TAPA, at Barcelona’s Passeig de Gràcia, an exclusive brewery which devoted its 500 sqm to serve tapas in an informal and friendly setting, right in the heart of the city.
The concept was a huge success and served as an inspiration to many projects that followed its lead. They all brought forth a new category of restaurants in our country: the tapas restaurants. Thousands have followed ever since.
Happy with that success, we kept opening, little by little, new TAPA TAPA restaurants. All of them are easy to identify but each has its own personality, in unique locations both in Barcelona and Madrid. We often reinvent the venues and renew them, but they always maintain their original essence.
TAPA TAPA is still a modern tapas restaurant with a very extensive menu, packed with simple and colorful little dishes, full of character and freshly made with great care.
